Question: I ran ccleaner and I lost my login creds here and of course I don't have a clue what my password is. So, since I can still get here on the phone, should I just reset the password from the phone and re-enter it on the PC and go from there?

Golly, did I figure it out all on my own? Mark the calendar and buy a lottery ticket if that's true. I'm going to see what the smart people say about it first. I have enough fuckered up shit going on already :squint:

Get yerself a password manager.

When we only had one or two passwords to keep track of, that was one thing. Now we lie to ourselves when we say, "oh I'll remember that one."
Write them down. Store them on a device. Back them up to the cloud. ETC and things.

I see the problem. You said "followed directions". I rest my case.

On your phone, go to Google --> https://passwords.google.com

Only works if I sync everything which I don't, according to the reset procedure I did on my rarely used gmail.

Yeah, write it down works when you can find the list. I'm going to have to make multiple copies- when I find it.

Password manager seems to be the way to go.

Till I get more time I'll just have to read from the fucking phone. I'll be glad when school is over, over.

Right?

I use one of those old-school address & telephone# books, the ones with the ABCD tabs. Write em all down.

Believe it or not, even those books are hard to find. Mine was 3 years old when I bought it at a thrift store. Never used until me.

My honey has a list of hers and our common passwords on a simple piece of paper. I'm going to have to try that for my stuff too. My fault, I'm an id10T for letting it get away from me.

Jusr waiting for the reset permission now, good thing the phone still remembers the way back.

sadly you can't depend on writing them down (and, more importantly recycling them across sites). lastpass rocks.
