Luckily i have a reasonable 160 meter vertical good for groundwave contacts up to 100 miles.
And with the MFJ 998 auto tuner feeding it directly usable on 160 up to 10, though on the higher as 40 meter it doesn't really perform as the other antenna's.

For the turd thingy, i stick to known food ;)
