Not exactly Amateur Radio related...
But when it comes to HOA's and their (over)reach, which certainly can and has affected many hams, I found the following item... amusing. Sad, but amusing.
The first letter is in reference to an HOA that has banned any Halloween decorations that are or could be construed as "occult" or "supernatural" or representative thereof.

Of course, what's not clear from the letter is whether or not the unnamed HOA actually has the authority (by contract) to do this (Personally, I'd have my suspicions). But that's not my point. It's simply to illustrate that outdoor antennas aren't the only things that HOA's, or the people that run some of them, want to control.
