There are hundereds of good but poorly publicised films to watch. Here is one to see, The link needs no comment from me except that my Dad was evacuated from Dunkirk by a free French destroyer and spent 6 weeks in hospital on his return.

Part of that was filmed in the Netherlands and people from the semi Island URK were used as stand in's and as background figures and actors.

I like the idea of using local people as much as possible.

I can't wait to see it. The Longest Day was one of my dads favorite films, on the beach at Normandy. He was there.

Must have seen that for a gazillion times, every year I can't stop myself from watching it again.
