Xiegu HF transceiver. 20W max. $520 from Amazon. Might be good for portable use. Motorcycle mobile. Looks pretty bare bones. No antenna tuner that I can tell.

Yep, I saw that once I dug deeper into the description.

Looks like that radio has been around since 2014 in one form or another; the "G" model seems to be the newest edition.

A Facebook group for that radio and one of its cousins popped up on my feed. I "Amazoned" it and found it and thought it was interesting. As I dug deeper I found the 100W amp with built in auto antenna tuner. With that the total cost was brought up to $1170 before shipping and taxes. Where I was sitting I had to ask myself, why didn't they just make it a 500W watt amp?
