View Full Version : That Makes Five
Ladies and Gentlemen! Elvis... has just... left.. the Building!
Wholly smokes; I was afraid this was going into OT. That, or Jean Claude Van Damme was working security in Nashville (although that may be too subtle a joke for most)
***
RIght before he left work on Friday, one of the co-owners of my company said to the entire IT staff (we sit outside his office) that he was personally going to Nashville to "bring the f*****g thing home myself!" (He is a minority owner of the Penguins)
Wow. Things are going to be wild on the South Side tonight.
Wonder how long it will be before the Stanley Cup ends up in the bottom of Mario's pool... again?

A tense defensive game until the last 90 seconds or so.
A lot of people came into work late yesterday.
The Cup returned with the team yesterday afternoon. It was at a pool party at Mario's house last night. How much you want to bet it went for a swim again? (No pictures have surfaced... yet...)
Sidney, Marc Andre, and a good bit of the team were at PNC Park tonight. Little Miss Field Day didn't get to see it, though, she was working up at the 300 level behind home plate; the Cup made the rounds, but never got up there.
The Pens brought the Cup to PNC Park last night.

Not to worry, though. "It's a great day for hockey!" ('Badger' Bob Johnson)

You do know that Tim Hortons is now opened by the (current) corporate parent of Burger King, right?
And that said corporate parent just purchased Popeye's Louisiana Kitchens?
Talk about a pastiche of culinary styles.
