Chevelle redo

Hi guys. It has been about 7 years since the restoration and the old girl needed some attention. Leaking fuel pump , intake manifold, and carb. Paint peeling off the front of the heads, and I had a noisy valve or two. I replaced the stock cast iron manifold with an Edelbrock aluninum performer. Picked up a rebuilt 750 Quadrajet from Jegs. Touched up the engine paint, installed a new fuel pump, and adjusted the valves. She cleaned up nice, and is running great. I think I'm going to put it in our local car show this summer.

My lady friend has a '71 which has been built/freshened up similar to yours, George. Which is a hell of a dilemma for her, as she's a Mopar Gal.

This leads to an interesting debacle: Want a Dodge product in my garage? It's either a '70 Hemi Challenger or a late model Viper hard-top coupe with the Lingenfelter engine/chassis treatment. Your choice, sweetie. :snicker:

I ran those on the 55 chev modified producton car and the B/gasser. I drilled hole in the outer edge of the wheel, and put sheet metal screws throught the holes into the tire bead. That stopped the tires from spinning on the wheel, and cutting the inner tube.

Sometimes I'll watch that channels for days on end. Just park the remote and don't pick it up again until they rerun the shows 3x. 4x sometimes.
