Little Miss Field Day came home late Saturday night to spend Easter with the family. She brought along her roommate, who would otherwise have been stranded by herself in the dorm room (her family was in FL for the weekend, and she was working on a show through 11 PM Saturday night -- thus is the life of an acting major)

As we arrived home, The Force Awakens was on one of the movie channels, east coast feed. The boss was looking for something to watch between the end of the east coast feed and the beginning of the west coast feed.

To the delight of both girls, she found... Spaceballs

They stayed up half the night watching it, followed by Robin Hood: Men In Tights.

And before we left for the family dinner on Sunday, they added History of the World Part 1 to the repertoire.

I feel content and relieved. I have raised my daughter well.

We have a kid (21) at work who is being given movie assignments. I gave him Blazing Saddles. His most recent assignment was Caddyshack. Next week I was going to have him watch Spaceballs. History of the World I actually went to a theater to see and is one of my all time favorites.
