For those who didn't catch it, NCIS:LA last night featured the beloved Swan three drifty (at least I think that's what it was) and ham radio was a bit player in the plot.

I think it was a Swan 250 6 meter rig. To talk to Cuba from LA no less. I had a 700 and it was not that one.

Solid-state Astro series is Most Cold. The 10x is probably the most under-appreciated radio of its day.

If it's like my 350, it covers all the bands when first turned on. It gets normal after 15 minutes.
