Saw his show once in Vegas many many years ago. A real terror on stage, but in person a really nice man. It was his act to insult people in the front rows, but afterwards they would meet him and tell him how much they enjoyed his cheap shots. They were never really personal but we all fit in the mold. He had a unique talent for connecting with people.

RIP Don, thanks for all the laughs.

Those who knew him say he was a very nice person. Warm, friendly, caring and kind hearted. He was a staple part of my growing up years. I saw him on so many TV shows, movies, sitcom's, etc. He had a very active career.
