Daylight Savings Time.

The government takes away an hour in the middle of the night.

I get up and it's all grey and raining out.

No sun on the first day of Daylight Savings? It's the SUNSHINE state for crying out loud.

Coincidence?

I don't think so, Folks. I don't think so. They're stealing our sunlight.

Frankly, I'm just not going to comply with Daylight Savings Time until somebody in authority can explain to me what we've been doing with all the daylight we've saved for the last 200 years.

I mean the interest alone on all those photons should be enough to power every solar panel in the country for the next decade.

I'm just saying, somebody owes me some sunlight here.

Daylight on the Solstice in June. Out on the Outer Banks. Waiting on the Sunrise and the first flounder.

I wish here we would just go on Eastern Standard time all year round. I hate DST, Most of my clocks change automagically but he ones that done I just leave on EST all year round, My mind has gotten used to tacking on the extra hour, So if I have a 6 Am DST appointment I just get here at 5:00am EST
