So, since I want to better become a runner, I've added in strength training, every other day. It's cut down my weekly mileage from 30 to 15 or so, but I feel like my running times are still improving.
To boot? I also noticed today while I'm not shedding weight as fast as I'd like, my lean mass is staying constant, but my fat mass is dropping like a whiperil with it's wing shot off.
Anyone else just recently added weights/resistance training to their workouts?

Like a whiperil with it's wing shot off? That's quite succinct. Like a speckled hen in a red wagon.
I too have entered into resistance strength training. VIVE LA RÉSISTANCE!

Eh, just finished watching the episode of Scrubs where the janitor speaks in down-home slang :)

When I used to run I found it was very hard to lose weight via running alone.
I ought to get my butt to the gym more often than I do, but cycling and hiking (anything outdoors) beats fighting the crowds at my local fitness joint.

Gyms are narcissist enclaves, and frequently smell like wrestling class.

Go outside. Purchase some dumbbells. The also double for workbench anvils when you need to smack steel or hot iron.
