Looks like Molasses, enjoyed better from a glass, after pouring you let it "breath" for a minute or two; as it get warmer, it get more aromatic and the hint of cocoa comes through.

Haven't had Mexican Clown beer but I have had a couple of Chocolate stouts including something called Sweet Baby Jesus which was a chocolate peanut butter porter. It was a bit disappointing. The main taste about mid palette is like the skins off redskin peanuts.
Try a Young's Chocolate Stout. That was nice. Full figured flavor!
I have had less disappointments with coffee stouts. The problem is that some of them can keep you awake for days.

Chocolate beer, YUK! My tastes abide by the German purity law: Water, Barley, Hops.
Flavored beer is never consumed in my shack.

I'm with you--water, malted barley, hops and yeast. Add anything else and it ain't beer, it's an abomination in the eyes of the LORD.

The trick is to make it not too sweet. So, bakers chocolate, eh?
NO BEER, mead, wine, distilled spirits, undistilled spirits, foul swill, not-so-foul swill, methanol, acetic alcohol, C12H22O11 infected crap, illicit substances*, etc. etc. etc. allowed in my humble abode!!

Wish they put that stuff in brown bottles and not green. Skunky beer is skunky.

No, it's some little known brand from Trader Joe's. I was too lazy to go to the real beer store.
I too have consumed fair amounts of Pilsner Urquell, a good honest brew it is. When I lived in Germany I was in beer heaven!
I also like the original Czeck Budvar. Nothing like the American dog piss.
I also found that the Spanish can do a good beer.

Readily available right up the road a patch. Ingle's actually.

Yeah, you need to get it straight out of the carton so it hasn't been exposed to light.

Any of you savages on Untappd? Been brewing my own since 90 or so. Current lash up is a Grainfather system. Also have the alembic dome and condenser for it. Of course I would only distill alcohol for use as a fuel. Might even brew a batch this weekend. Thinking a nice pale ale.

Wouldn't mind pulling a draw from her tap(s), if you know what I mean.

I'd need further examination.

If you have to add all this stuff surely the beer is decidedly suspect in the first place? I'd keep the chocolate for daytime consumption and drink the beer in the evening. If he beer is that bad it still makes a good tomato fertiliser.
