Good answer, never good to waste a perfectly good amateur transceiver to idiots.

I have Ten Tec Delta II that will transmit continuous from 160m-10m.
It comes that way, you just power it up with three keys pressed.
But, no AM.

Peanuts.
My FT 2000 - D will go there with 225 watts from the box, including all mode including AM/FM SSB RTTY Packet build in.
( had to open it up because 40 didn't go further as 7100, and we can go to 7200 KHz.)

I'll see your '101 and raise you a '901DM. It has FM too. :snicker:
Setting one of those up so its hidden "Aux" band spot works on 11 (or any other band for that matter, such as 12 or 17M) is absolutely NOT trivial by any means. Likewise, conversion of the WWV spot from 15MHz (or 5MHz) RX to 10MHz TRX is challenging as well.
Both require addition or substitution of XTAL and VCO Module components. Both require modification to the Counter Module switching logic so the new band segment frequencies will display correctly. Both require modification to the band switch circuitry.
I've added WARC bands and 11M RX to several of these rigs over the years. Just when I swear off the procedure (and the line in general) I always seem to end up with another.
The next '901 incarnation will see a conversion of WWV to 5MHz (I get 60M this way) and the addition of 11 on the Aux spot. Both will be RX only though I might end up converting the extra band to 12M TRX if we get some sunspots.

So, do I have to price it ridiculously high and allow them to think they got a deal ?

they buy something ten years ago. when it comes time to sell, they look at the product sold today and try to sell for that price.

Go find this group on FB, and check out the prices.
CB RADIO SALES GROUP n.r.o.
:spit:
How much do they think a nice Stoner PRO-40 is worth, Dave?

I've not seen one listed, only recently joined the group.
An FT901 is listed for $123,456. Because. :snicker:
No I don't think it's a real price.
Some stuff is reasonable, not the amps.
Contraband is always expensive. And scofflaws will always be willing to pay the price for perceived value.
CB'ers are always the best 'marks' when it comes to radio gear. At least that's what I hear.....

So what are you trying to sell and will it do 11 meters? What's the lowest you'll take for it and will you be willing to part it out?

ICOM 706iiG, yes, $1300usd, no.
I would be surprised if a chicken bander could scratch up that much 'scratch' all at once; why with all the trips to walmart, keystones best and cigarettes they have to finance monthly.
yeah, that is a stereotype - in stereo! :spin:

I'm still curious about what happened to that 4CX10000 (not a typo) amp that came up for sale a few years ago on Craigslist around here. He was selling it along with a 6-element quad, trying to trade for a Harley.
