Whilst Kirk Douglas celebrates his 100th birthday, Greg lake from Emerson, Lake and Palmer passed away on December 7th.
Earlier in the month we lost Andrew Sachs who played the hapless Manuel in Fawlty Towers starring John Cleese as Basil Fawlty.
I'm assuming Fawlty Towers has shown in the US, anyway the BBC showed an episode as a memorial tribute to Andrew Sachs just before a new comedy and the difference was startling. Frankly the new series was simply unfunny so we won't be seeing it again but there are plenty of old un's I'd happily rewatch.
