Microsoft Settles for $650 Over Small Claims Court Case Regarding Win X

Microsoft has paid the relative of an Alzheimer's patient $650, covering his cost to rebuild a custom machine after an unwanted Windows X upgrade.

The machine was a Win 7 custom built PC that was set to resemble Win XP. The patient was familiar with XP but not newer versions.

The intrusive upgrades gotta mellow out.

I am a willing participant, but boy, I sure understand why some folks can't or won't upgrade.

Besides, a careful analysis of XP and Win 7 needs will show a method for decent protection.

Fer crying out loud, Windows NT and Window 2000 still works. Sheesh.
