This is insane. Several years ago, we hit 122 degrees. Many commercial planes were grounded because the manuals that list the various systems didn't go above 120. The take off parameters were the most critical. Looks like we might just top that today, and a few days following.

I mean, cmon, 0900 and the temp was 115, and now it's 117. Shit........

I was going to make an omelet this morning, but I think I'll just fry the eggs on a brick in the dirt. Fuck.......

Add some humidity and you can change the name of your town to Satan's Anus.

Eddie......interestingly enough,2 weeks ago we hit 35 degrees Celsius (......95 degrees Fahrenheit for you 'merican uninitiated types ) the first time ever, officially that temperature was ever recorded in this area! Supposedly warm air that was pumped up here from Arizona.Happens occasionally,so I guess it's not that bad an Arizona export.A freak of nature......we'll just leave it at that!

Pretty damned hot here too. 91 deg F in June, in Buffalo. It's nigh unheard of. Usually we save the 90's for July and August.

Those aren't mummies, they are local Republicans. It's no wonder that nothing happens in the San Diego legislature.

117° at 09:30. I don't know how hot a motherfucker is, but I don't think it's as hot as that.

I don't know about the Pope, but once or twice a year is my frequency.

Ditto. I'm sure he was alone when it happened.

You know how those northern redneck, football hating VEs are.

Speaking of scorchers. We hit 90 today on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan with about 80% humidity.

I cut the lawn. I'm stupid.

Put about 200mi on the motorcycle yesterday in 85-95 degree heat.

My arms are this glorious shade of red...
