Comedian John Oliver, on his latest segment (as of this writing) "Last Week Tonight", is offering seats in the so-called "Legends" seats behind home plate... for $.25 each.
No, that's not a typo. Yes, the offer is for real. And yes, the tickets are going to cost him as much as $1595. Each.
So what's the catch? You have to dress like you've never sat in a "premium location" before... ie, it sounds like he wants you to look like a schmuck.
This is in reaction to the Yankee's decision to not let people print tickets at home, because they allegedly don't want any "riff raff" sitting next to... the elite, I guess?

BTW, Oliver continues to call the Yankees the biggest "elitist Alpha Hotels in all of sports." Which somehow makes this a quite fitting story for THIS forum, dontcha think?
