I came home from work yesterday, and she was laying on her side in the hallway. I guess she had a heart attack or stroke. RIP sweet little girl. :(

Damn... R.I.P. Toots.
Always sad to lose one of the cats, had that too much in my life as well...
At least she had a good life with you.
Sorry to hear it, George. She looks to be the twin sister of the cat who belongs to a friend of mine, and said friend has become very attached to her.

Very sorry to hear about your pet, but it sounds like she went quickly. Mine always seem to have long protracted illnesses that require that last tearful trip to the vet.
That's Terrible, George, sorry to hear about Toots.
I hope she didn't suffer.
How is Dennis doing? They DO notice when their buddies are gone.

He seems to be looking for her. They spent a lot of time together.

Condolences on the loss of Toots. I have 2 great little Yorkies that I have become extremely attached to and I face the same loss down the road. They are a blessing on 4 legs and are the only sane individuals I know (other than some of the outcasts here). They love you no matter what.
Rip Toots
Condolences from here as well.
Just got home from work, tracked down Frankie the Cat and gave her a big hug.

Sorry to hear the news George, our condolences thataway. Me & the Mrs couldn't do it without our four legged furries. Hopefully Dennis doesn't stay in a funk for long, too. Best wishes for you and yours. Take care Toots

She looked at me like I was crazy, of course. She is a cat. I didn't care.

Frankie usually does as well—it typically elicits a big, audible purr. I think it was the way I did it without warning that confused her.

Damn man, I'm so sorry to hear. Condolences from our family. We've been through lots of companion animals (We adopt old, unwanted ones), and it never gets easier.

So sorry, George. I remember when you brought her here to share with us the first time and how you had to keep her in the garage for a while. It's always sad to see our friends go.

Toots helped nurse me back to health, after the motorcycle accident back in 2014.

My condolences, losing a pet often times feels like losing a member of the family.
