Happy Groundhog Day to all!
In answer to the age-old question of how much ground could a groundhog hog if a groundhog could hog ground, the answer is:
"The average groundhog has been estimated to move approximately 1 m3 (35 cu ft), or 2,500 kg (5,500 lb), of soil when digging a burrow"

Well, which one starred in a hit movie with Andie MacDowell and that guy from SNL?
If they put it in a movie, it has to be real, right? Hollywood wouldn't, you know, like, LIE to us or anything...

Of course not. From the Wikipedia page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punxsutawney_Phil#In_media_and_popular_culture) on Punxsutawney Phil:
"Phil and the town of Punxsutawney were portrayed in the 1993 philosophical comedy film Groundhog Day. The actual town in the film is Woodstock, Illinois."
Now, now, your holeyness... I didn't say that the movie was FILMED there. The point was, which critter starred in the movie (obviously via an actor-critter, not the real one). Which you just confirmed, and I think you.

Ask BBC Over Yonder.
Ask BBC Over Yonder.
You mean that isn't something that I should ask the WIK?

The WIK invented Groundhog Day. He might have invented groundhogs, even.

THERE you go!
You know, I just realized that I didn't see any mentions anywhere of the allegedly annual GHD Special Event Station from Punxy. I'd mention the call of the station that has (had) run that in the past, but it's probably best not to awaken the interests of the dearly (or not so dearly) departed, especially when they wield the Golden Screwdriver so frequently...
