There are quite a few wireless mice about with 3 or more buttons, packaged without any software or links. These often work straight off just by inserting the USB dongle provided but have no link or functionality for other than the left & right button. Luckily there is now freeware available which seems to restore at least the middle button, just look for "Xmousebuttoncontrolsetup.exe".
