Hope your holiday is enjoyable. I'm organizing a raiding party even as I type this and will be heading out to clean 'em out... :snicker:

My nearest family is 5 and 10 hours away, respectively, so I'll be spending it at a friend's place. Beverages, feasting, merriment, gratuitous hot-tub usage. 'Murica.

Betts is off to work. We're doing our bird next Tuesday, she's working a lot.
Just finished the 90-minute push to get the bird stuffed and in the oven. Time to relax for a little while before I start in on the vegetable portion of the meal.

I did a 90 minute push with the snow shovel.
And now, we wait for the plow.
And do a little more. :hahano:

It's that white stuff on the bottom and sides of your deep freezer. I've seen it on my freezer. However, I have no idea how it gets out or gets all over some of these guys property.

We don't have a Thanksgiving Day here, but the "Black Friday" concept has been gaining steam since it was introduced, in 2011. The sales event is called "El Buen Fin", or "The Good Weekend". It is held on the Revolution Day weekend, which was the weekend before last. Participating stores will display the official logo:

I remember those Canadian holidays from back when I worked stateside, for a Canadian company. Canadian holidays were also a sort of holiday for me, because the big bosses up north wouldn't be ringing my office telephone off-the-wall. :)
