Yes, you read the title right "drums" not "drugs". This is so insane I can't make this up. ISIS has decided that drums are evil and all drums must be destroyed.

They look so 'Sheik' in their black outfits and masks to hide their identities. Yeah, those drums are a threat alright...

At least he's taking action! I think a better way would be to make them listen to all his songs over and over. That would make anyone stay away.

Of course, if we decide that as the enemy they have no rights...

Add in a few dozen playings of Harry Nilson's "Coconut", plus a few dozen playings of Starland Vocal Band's "Afternoon Delight" and Rupert Holmes "Escape" (the Pina Colada song)... that should do it.

More proof that ISIS is anti-human.

More proof that ISIS is anti-human.

They probably heard some asshole play a shitty drum solo in the middle of “Caravan (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r95flkZciJE)” and that sent them right over the brink.

Give them a break. If you were losing sleep because 5 major Air Forces were bombing you day and night, wouldn't you get a little touchy about loud percussion instruments?

How about giving ISIS some drums to destroy. About 1,000,000 55 gallon drums of nerve gas. ??

Many years ago, a columnist, Arthur Hoppe, proposed that we could end the Nicaraguan civil war by merely dropping bundles of American dollars on the rebels. Those that were hit by a million dollar bundle would be squished. Those that survived and got the money would become instant capitalists, and would suspend their war. Dropping these bundles of greenbacks would, in fact, be much less costly than the smart weapons we normally use.

I suspect something similar might work in Syria.

Arthur Hoppe doesn't understand how money works on non capitalists. Drop a million on them and they wont become capitalists. They use it accrue military and quasi political strength. Look at Taliban, Al Qeada, Isis etc. Taliban got cash from the US during the 80's Russian invasion. They used that to stall Russia and create an oppressive government which then set the seeds for anarchy in middle east. That formed Al Qaeda. Which caused MORE anarchy in the middle east and spread globally. This caused EVEN MORE anarchy in the middle east which then created ISIS. No where in that series of events does the cash promote capitalism to the peoples and governments of those lands. Same applies to ANY land in which conflict rules.

Art Hoppe was a satirist. He didn't really think he was presenting a viable solution.

Hey now, one can be a true believer in Islam, and still enjoy having servants. But if the hierarchy insists that they pay all of the money to the Caliph, instead, I suspect in short order it will cause dissension within the ranks. They may not become capitalists, but they will probably suddenly become much more moderate in their beliefs. For only $1 Trillion dollars, assuming that the million dollar bundles take out at least a couple terrorists, we can quickly pacify another 3-4 million of them. I think it's a win-win situation, and only about 1/10th of what we've spent on the wars in the region in recent years. No, Hoppe was a true visionary.

Next, we'll talk about Corporal Partz and the 43rd year of our lightning campaign to drive the East Vietnarian guerillas out of West Vietning.
