Had been running ADSL2 line here 10 Mb down 1 up, from a friend, so cheap.
But all thibgs come to an end, his internet provider wants to fade out ADSL2 and wanted a lot more money, so ditched ADSL2 and went for the 40/4 cable connection, the slowest they have ( can be up to 200/50) but since I'm not downloading much and my son does, we don't need max speed.

Comes with cable tv, telephone for 37,50 Euro a month, ditching the telephone line and ADSL2 and satellite smartcard is 73 euro less costs a month, so saving money and faster internet connection.
Lets see how it works....

Good luck, sir.
In Merica, we don't get internet that fast because they presume we're just going to use it to steal music and movie files.

TV (not HD), 60/15 speed, runs me $160/mo. It would be $120/mo. without TV.

Comcrap, no competition due to the invisible hand of the "free market".

F*ck those prices ain't no fun....
The most expensive package https://www.ziggo.nl/alles-in-1?ecmp=sbr-307-6450&gclid=CL37jfXwg8gCFQu3GwodAtoGSA&gclsrc=aw.ds
would be 74 euro a month, gibe 200/20 internet no caps, telephone. 115 channels on tv 35 HD.
Replay tv, for the missed programs HD. media box modem all included.
My prime, 1000 movies to watch, etc.

I thought it was expensive...

I have plain old DSL landline service through Telmex. For 36 dollars a month (includes all taxes), you can get their premium residential package, with:

* Unlimited local, long distance and international calls (with no additional charges)

* Unlimited calls to cell phones

* Internet up to 10 Mbps download/768 kbps upload

* A Netflix-like service for entertainment

A cheaper, 23 dollar per month package (includes taxes) has all of the above; except they charge (as a local call) every phone call originated over a monthly limit of 100 calls. Also, they charge for more than 200 monthly minutes of calls made to cell phones.

Note: these Telmex packages don't include cell phone service. They just distinguish between landline calls made to a cellphone from landline calls made to another landline.

Same cable provider has to give access on their cable network for competition, mandatory.
And of course our country is one of the densly cabled countries and a hub in internet traffic.

Might help...

it be nice, but wont happen here. when we had TCI (before comcrap bought them up) they were good. $20 a month for net, you got the speed you got no bs tiered shit. AND it was a decent company nice peeps, when comcrap came quality went down and the nickel and dime shit started with huge price raises.

Telus(the phone company offering us the copper pair lines for landlines) has been busy for the last 3 or so months installing the latest and greatest in the fiber optic world here in Duncan with a fiber optic cable just installed to the De-mark on the house. No indication on what price for their service yet,but their target is Shaw Cable in a head to head battle to win the subscriber prize (....... Telus says DL speed will be 150 Mbps ) :spin:

A lot of the IP backbone runs right through Denver via the railroad right of way.
This is definitely a hub, but it's not for the commoners.

40.62Mbps down and 4.21Mbps up.
Stable too not complaining here.

With that I'm slower as 52% of the Dutch that have more sppedy internutz....
Don't see the necessity for 200/20 to be honest.

Maybe it was a regional/division thing, but hereabouts, TCI was horrible to deal with. When Comcast took them over, no change was noted.

I have been running Telus fiber optic internet connection 26 down 6 up for a over a week now (I am paying 36 dollars a month for it as opposed to 80 dollars that Shaw cable had just bumped me up for 20/4 service) I recommend fiber optic to anyone if it's offered to you! ...........I have a few media player issues but,I'm fairly sure it's a Chrome/Windows 7 minor conflict with my available RAM memory in place on the computer.:hahano:

The joke is that all 2 million customers at Ziggo Cable with their wi-fi modems have switched the modem on for other Ziggo costumers that can roam all over the country on an additional 10/2 Mbits connection on their gadgets.

So, anywhere I'm in range of an Ziggo wi-fi modem I can guest use the internet on my tablet/phone/laptop for free.
Have fun visiting our country and look around, not just using the internet ;)
