So far the upgrade went smooth on my test system. All my favorite apps seem to work. Hopefully in a couple days I can commit it to my main system. "dnf" is the new replacement for "yum", so far so good. KDE - Plasma 5 is the new KDE and it might take some bug fixes and getting used to.

Yeah, every time a new version is released there are always a few things that take some getting used to. Thanks for the heads up on the situation with the repos, so far I haven't run into any problems but I'll bear that in mind. Otherwise it seems like a pretty smooth version. I haven't come across and major issues thus far. I just need to get used to the look and feel of KDE 5.
As for Fedora 23 I think I'll wait a few months and get used to F22 first... :) Update cycles are quite frequent in the Fedora world.
