View Full Version : Are You A Mensch or a Schmuck?
It's all about the way you deal with it. This is a good series, 13 episodes; I'm already looking forward to season 2.
Frankie & Grace
Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin co-star as two women forced to reinvent their lives in this funny, honest new Netflix Original series. Elegant, proper Grace and freewheeling, eccentric Frankie aren't friends, even though their husbands Robert and Sol (Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston) have been law partners for decades. But when Robert and Sol announce that they're leaving their wives for each other, the two women start to bond in ways they never expected.

actually, that was a default and i was too lazy to do anything about it ...
Are You A Mensch or a Schmuck? You keep using those words.
I do not think they mean what you think they mean.
In short: Don't be a putz.
...by the way, the series is titled "Grace and Frankie", not "Frankie and Grace"...

I haven't seen the show yet. We don't have Netflix.
WRT Yiddish... you understand the English dictionary definitions. But there are nuances that you simply aren't grasping.
Probably just as well. If certain mods on certain sites that will remain unnamed ( and note I said "sites" not "site" ) really, truly understood what those words meant...
WRT Cincinnati... never heard of them before. Wonder if there's a relation between that family and the MLB ball player, JJ Putz? (His name is pronounced, officially, "pootz" not "puhtz" so I don't think the name came from the same source)

That's even worse, poots are farts.
