Little Miss Field Day officially graduates from High School tonight. Ceremony starts at 7:30 PM.

Her official Senior picture. Isn't it a good thing that she gets the bulk of her looks from her mother? (I don't think a beard suits her, especially a gray one)

I'm sure she must have played a part in yours turning gray, if even a small part.

I'm sure she must have played a part in yours turning gray, if even a small part.Oh, she did.

And she's quite proud of herself for doing so.

Shoulda had a son. Instead of a gray beard, you'd have one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel.

Send the short bus to pick up Eddie and take him to the ceremony.

Congrats on a job well done.

Jason N8XEShe'll be attending Point Park University. She wants to get into the Conservatory of Performing Arts there, but didn't make the cut (they only took 30 freshman this year, out of over 1000 applicants). She'll get another shot with them later this year.

She also wants to get into journalism.

The Boss wants her to minor in something child care related, since she is fantastic with little kids. We'll see.

This summer, she'll be volunteering with the church's Vacation Bible School, and has her first acting gig lined up -- ok, it's an Extra for one day for the TV series that's filming (Banshee, I think), but it's a start.

Congrats. What a great picture.

I sense impishness in her force. ;)

It's official!

That's not a photobomb in the one photo, incidentally. That's actually her brother; he looks a touch cross because he was telling our grandson to quit running around and come over here NOW. Kid takes after him... what do you know, the Parents Curse works. (You know... "Just wait until you have kids, I hope they turn out just like you are now!" )

Oh, just one more... this was taken just before they gathered the Seniors together before the start of the ceremonies...

The young lady with LMFD is her best friend growing up, from our old neighborhood. This YL just finished her freshman year of college, and if you knew what she'd gone through growing up (another story for another time), you'd appreciate the significance of that.

Also, note LMFD's necklace, and the pendant on it. If that looks like a pocket watch to you, that's because it is. It was mine (broken, not repairable), and she wore it for my benefit tonight. (It also looked great with the outfit). How's that for a nice touch.

I still can't believe it.

Well Ron, you and "The Boss" raised a good child. Be proud of the job both of you had done, tell Jess I said "Good Luck" who knows someday we may be seeing her in a summer block buster movie, and I can say " I went to a Pirate ballgame with her way back when."
