There's a local young man that I consider my second son, he has a vinyl lettering business that he's trying to get off the ground. So I figured, what the heck, I'll try to help him. He does business graphics, signs, call signs for your back window, club signage, and what ever else (he does great work). Check him out on Facebook or PM me here and I will get a message to him.

Scroll down and look at the "Power Monkey" graphic that he did for me.

Yeah, when the AC/heating business is slow, my kid does that on the side as well. Tell your friend that if he can, take his computer, printer, a generator, a UPS with pure sine wave output, and all the other stuff out to the local race tracks, car shows, and swap meets. He'll make a fortune. The payback time for what he doesn't have won't take long to recoup. The kid put all his stuff in his service trailer, so he is covered for most any eventuality.

Thank you, one head of ED. I passed this info on to him.

Rata probably remembers when they were state-of-the-art. Unfortunately, so do I.

I remember when they were just a futurist dream.

“Wagons that move without horses? Balderdash! That's impossible.”

Back in the day when I was heavily involved in the CAD/CAM business, I setup a bunch of large CAD plotters with a vinyl cutting accessory for making signs. Worked pretty well. The Houston Instrument and Calcomp plotters were popular for this use.

I would put this on my bumper if it was available.

I have the files for that, but it might be difficult to do in vinyl alone. Best would be to screen print it on an adhesive backing.

My sister's son is in the business also, just moved into a larger shop.

That sucks. The thing looks like it was designed by a chimp with a learning disability.

That's the guy. Note that he's driving a truck...

In regard to a PM I received, I want to make something clear: I meant my comment to be a self-deprecating remark about my logo design, not about the vinyl work.

He now has a trailer with near complete mobile "office" that he takes to events, in order to make signs on the spot.

He's good, too.

Unfortunately, he's gotten so big that he doesn't come to our club's little hamfest any longer ( *sniff* *sniff*). I mean, just because it's impossible to get that trailer inside the building...

Time to knock down the building and get a bigger one.

Ask if you can get a bulk discount if you include knocking Hara down at the same time.

Here you go

Black or white 6.5" high / 6.25" wide

$7.25 each, I'll pay the postage. The price is what he's charging me.
