http://www.brindlemedia.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/Cialis-Spoof1-300x181.jpgI tried it once. I bought a six pack of beer, opened the bathroom window to watch the sun set. I grabbed a bottle of beer, and got in the tub. I fell asleep.
Happy Birthday. I hope you get laid.

Well, it's your day, and like grandma use to say, if it feels good, do it.

I wonder what Silvia's mother thinks about that?

She wished Scott a HBD as well.
Then she whispered in his ear. Not sure what she said, but he turned two shades of red...

Carl is so old, when he tells you that he learned to drive with a Studebaker wagon, He means this:

Damn, that pretty much beats the hell out of a Yugo, or even a Studebaker. If you look closely, you can tell the beer is cold, although I doubt it would stay that way furlong.

But not a nicely equipped Volvo.
But not a nicely equipped Volvo.
Funny you should say that!
Despite all your best wishes, here is how part of my birthday went yesterday....
Our 19 year old grand daughter calls the XYL and says, "Grandma, my car (a 2000 Chevy Cavalier) needs a lot of work and I need a new car!"
My wife says, "Let me talk to PawPaw (yours truly) and let me think about it"
So the XYL says that she might consider giving the harmonic the car she is driving now, but then we will need to replace her (the XYL's) car.
So she finds this gorgeous fully loaded used Volvo S60 online and we drive to the car dealer to take a look:
http://imagescdn.dealercarsearch.com/Media/6161/5955632/635672865307475143.jpg
Yeah, its pretty sweet!
We drove down there in my car, a 2004 Lexus RX330 with only 153k on the odo. Sure, its got a little road rash, but other than that, it is still in great shape, or was until this happened....
There was my car (and that is our dog Princess in the back seat) sitting on the lot minding its own business when this other guy on the lot goes to back out. This guy must have been driving about 400 mph when he plows into the driver's door nearly caving it in! Maybe the Lexus thought we trading it in (which ain't gonna happen) and was jealous of the Volvo. I am sure the Lexus is totalled!

I want to supercharge my white Miata, then wrap it instead of painting it.
But, that could easily run to $8K plus if I don't do it myself.
Don't have the time.
A mint green like this:

And a matte finish would be interesting, eh?

Those dull matte finished cars are decals, I have been told. You can buy decals to cover your entire new car and run it for years, then pull the decal off after 5 years or so and have a beautiful new finish to show to the world. They are quite expensive though.

It's not always a vinyl wrap, but yea, that's what I'm talking about.
About $300 for the vinyl, and a hell of a lot of work. No fumes!

Nice looking cars. Probably worth a bundle today.

Yeah, the last Studebaker designed by Raymond Loewy, I believe. And, as you said, worth a bundle today. Not so much circa 1972 or so, especially in the condition his was in (fairly well thrashed). It had a three-speed manual on the floor, first car I ever saw with one of those.
