My friend had an Amphicar. It sucked at being a car, and boat. It took him 2 years of tinkering to get it functional. He always asked me to come with him when he took it out to the lake. The damn thing really leaked. You had to wear swim wear, or clothes you did not mind getting wet. I later realized the reason he always asked me was to use the hand pump baler. It had built in bilge pumps that did not keep up with the leak.

By the way, Bob, not that we will meet again in Vegas, but BJ's really fell off the map for me after that last visit. Devie and I went one more time and it was worse, so if you come to Maine, then we are going to Youngs Lobster Pound. I have been there several times and can personally vouch for it.


By the way, I was trying to describe our bad experience at BJ's, but i didnt know how to put it...BJ's sucked? BJ's blew it? BJ's dropped the ball? Never going to come to BJ's again?
