Putting the trash out for pick up and having the trash bin almost empty and the recycling bin almost full.

Yup.

We typically produce 1 tall kitchen bag a week (or less) of landfill worthy trash.

All the rest is recycled. A lotta Amazon boxes. ;)

Mom will be so proud.

Mom always said that you were supposed to be a girl. When grandma held the ring on a string over her belly, the way it swung said girl.
I would say that I saw on on Little House On The Prairie but I didn't.

Not so. I come from a family of Sicilians/Italians where all babies are supposed to be boys.

I went to high school with Linwood Boomer, the actor who played Adam Kendall (the blind guy) on that show. He went on to create Malcom in the Middle.

Putting the trash out, and actually having it picked up and not dumped all over the place.
