It will be 20 years and one day since my best friend from high school and I went to our first concert here in Columbus, June 16th, 1990 during their Presto tour. We have been going to Rush concerts ever since. We have been talking about going to Toronto to see them for a while now.

Plopped down 3 Benjamins for a 15th row ticket.

This year there's a lot of great concerts coming up...

Danny Elfman doing the Music of Tim Burton. Herbie Hancock is coming, I really like him.
So is Stevie Wonder. Neil Diamond (like to see him again), Weird Al, Billy Joel.

There's a lot of others too, but those are the ones to choose from so far.

Brand X #1 was a big Neil Diamond fan back in the 70's. You may connect the dots as to why she was a fan. As the Smothers Brothers might have said, Think Ethnic.

I saw Neil Diamond 5 times in the span of about 4 years.

Back then he always did the same thing. Open with "Coming to America". Playing and reprising "Forever in Bluejeans" over and over and over, and as the last encore to get rid of the crowd he'd do "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" which is probably one of his weakest tracks.

It was... interesting....
