View Full Version : Drinking Crown on the Rocks...
Well, my Blue Jackets seem to be waning a bit (lots of injuries this year made us dig a pretty big hole). Just got back from the game this evening and we lost. So I am drowning my sorrows... (not really, just enjoying the evening with the old Drake turned on).
The good news is that my bronchitis is finally on its way out... and I got to smoke my pipe for the first time since Christmas Eve. And the NHL All Star Game and activities are coming next week (and I get to go!!!)
What are you drinking?

Beer for the first time this week.
I hope everyone's sitting down or tucked tightly in their caskets. Here lately, there are several nights, in a row, that I don't drink any beer (or anything else). Kinda, au natural, I can see a smile on Eddie's face. Can you fscking believe it? Me either. What is wrong? I need an intervention.

Noon? I have seen people drink a beer with breakfast here. I still can't bring myself to have a drink with my lunch. Then again, I am not much of a drinker. I am having some Darjeeling.

So at my weekly church gathering called "Tavern Theology" (I knew I was at the right church) I had an awesome drink of rye whisky poured over a large ice cube into a whiskey glass lined with Absinthe. Add a lemon rind, simple syrup, and some bitters..
EDIT: Here it is!!!
