So I took the bait on a facebook ad, because I love old railroady stuff and I live smack-dab in the middle of an area very rich in railway history.

Clicked on this: 13498

And it took me to this: http://www.trainweb.org/wnyrhs/

You'd think that if you're gonna spend all that money paying for facebook ads to link to your website, you'd at least update it sometime in the last 15 years. Wow.

I thought I recognized that. The website was done in Microsoft Publisher... 98.

I used to have a page on QTH.net, used the same style for it.

Have to admit it, one of the websites that I "maintain" (haven't touched it in years) is a club site. And sure enough, it looks pretty old.

And I would add:

I don't hack html/css anymore. Too tedious. I now use web content management systems to do that stuff (like Wordpress). Being that I have developed software now for almost 20 years, I am more interested in the content and not managing the content system. At one time it was fun, but anymore, it is now a job.

www.undermidnight.com and www.n8xe.com are both wordpress sites.

One of my friends until recently had a few "subpages" on his site that had the "Edited by Frontpage 95" on them....
