I built/wrote one many moons ago for helping me learn code. Just to give you an idea how old I wrote it for the Atari 800 computer. You could set the pitch, timing, speed, etc. The rest was basically just a text to CW converter. It worked 3 ways. You could set it to spit out random characters or random strings of characters on its own. Or you could have someone enter text and it would spit it back in cw. Or it could open a text file and start reading and sending the entire file in cw. And it worked to. Got me up to speed on code in no time and before I knew it I was licensed. Unfortunately I never expanded on the program nor rewrote it for modern day platforms.

Cheap Wine. The stuff memorable hangovers are made of!

Oh......that would make sense. When I used to drink cheap wine, I always ended up with severe software.

It's that annoying beeping sound you sometimes hear on the ham bands, not to be confused with that annoying whistling sound you also sometimes hear.

I always attributed those noises to gas, especially the whistling. Who Gnu?

I think I still have my Gordon West CW cassette tapes somewhere around here. Finding a cassette player is going to be up to you!

Only on the bands that have both kinds of music.
