I enjoy Cognac, Brandy, or a Gin and Tonic.

Nothing special here for me.

We have some really nice coffee my brother sent me.

The intoxicants are distant in the rear view mirror.

Anyone ever try drinking shine (legal) and chasing it with 40 proof?

I enjoy the stuff straight over the rocks. Nary a problem next day.

My friends cut it with grapefruit juice and all sorts of sugary mixers. They can't believe I drink mine without watering it down, but I'm not the one with the head-is-like-a-football hangover as a result.

Which is why I always used to advocate never drinking mixers straight.

You'll note, of course, that not even they are willing to put their name on a bottle of T-Bird.

I've got a pint of shine, the real deal, in the freezer. I haven't touched it because it's too cold to run around naked in the front yard. The neighbor women love it, but it's just too cold.

I tried Sam Adam's "Merry Maker" over the weekend... Really nice, and flavorful stout and I highly recommend it.

Did it make you merry?

I wanted to afterwards... 9% ABV, so it's got a bit of a kick.

I mixed some Cognac and Egg Nog yesterday evening. It was good!! However, now when I sip Crown Royal, it tastes like Egg Nog to me.

My god what have I done?!?!?
