I think I have a silver seven branch Menorah that was passed down from my Mother through her Father and his Jewish Father. When it passed through history in Nazi Germany, it was made convertible into a six branch candlabra with six elecrtic lights to hide it. I leave it in the Menorah configuration now and during the Holidays I wonder about its history and who was in my "woodpile"! I do have to put it back in candlabra configuration when my strict Episcopalian MIL comes to visit. :)
