Got yerself a new HT, or are you making noises on HF? :stickpoke:
I'm baaaaaaaack!It's about dang time.
We were strongly considering subletting your bar stool.
Glad I still have a place to sit. :)
Trying to get up and operative on all modes and all bands...... I ended up wiping out my VHF/UHF quad band vertical so I am restricted to 2m on a copper jpole around those parts........ have the Windom up and seem to be good to go everywhere else.

Cool! Congrats. I might even get back on the air again during my week off between Christmas and New Years.

I am waiting until January. I understand the science of an extra 4db gain per 10 deg F below freezing.
Congrats, Tom. I have a few donor VHF/UHF antennas hanging around in the garage - let me know what you need.

Tom, do you want that 13-el 2m Cushcraft?
Thanks everyone! I think I am going to go with Diamond's X510HDM for an omni. Yeah Charles I would be interested bro. No tower yet but during this next year coming up, that's the plan anyway. :)

To make it clear Tom, you're QRV on 40-10 and maybe 75/80? Coolness. I suggest more Islander HF shenanigans. N8GAV and I had ragchew conditions for a decent period of time recently. 75-20 meter flexibility seems to cover the propagation variables.
Be fun, eh? And CW/PSK as a backup.
