Dose any one here use this band? I have been listening on there but hear very little on it if anything at all. Once in a while I do hear some data, don't know if it is Hams or Government. Just wondering.

Haven't used it in over 5 years. Never seemed to have much luck with finding any DX on there. I think the only DX I found was the U.K.

Meh...

I was on there last night Jim, heard a guy in Nashville area talking to a station in St. Louis. That is the first time in a while I heard anyone there.

Which kind of proves my point. You can find all the domestic stuff you want, but woe be unto the DX chaser. ;)

Looking at the 60m spots from the East Coast on DXWatch, I don't see a lot of activity at all. There are significant gaps in reports. The last spot from the East Coast was back on November 16th.

I have all the channels programmed into the memories of both of my Paragon IIs - they're the only radios currently in the lineup which will cover the band.

Occasionally I'll flip through those memory channels and most times I'll hear some form of activity. Found CW on one of them earlier in the week.

Will have to listen closer for DX.

5.403.50 they say is the "DX Window", but I've never heard anyone above 5.346.50

I have a first generation Icom 706 that has been Mars-ed, so I think I'll listen with that and see if I can hear anyone.

I'd love to get prop into NorCal, so I can talk to my friend N6LDP. It'd be like having a private channel!

I use it sometimes, check it for activity often in the winter.
Stateside and Canada so far, all on SSB.

There are some beacons, never listened for 'em.

It's been a bit more interesting with the changes allowing more power and modes.

Hello Charles! And yeah, I noticed CW use is very heavy indeed. Did hear a few SSB stations but have been busy replacing the memory backup battery in the old TS570D(g). Will be mooching around on the band and listening in.
