XYL has to work Thanksgiving 4pm-4am so I don't have anything to do since we're having our Thanksgiving this weekend, so do a few of you want to try a roundtable or something?

I'm game. The grandkids will be with their mother so it'll be just the XYL and me here. There should be plenty of time to work in an Island Net.

I don't know if I'm up or down with that. I'm game.

With typical propagation changes being frequency agile as a group is helpful.
We can use this thread or maybe IRC chat... to keep track of where we are.

Oh, and modes too. PSK, JT65, or *gasp* CW. SSTV?

I'll be around - will be up in DC, so I'll probably have a better chance on the lower bands to our Mid-Atlantic brethren than I normally would.

SSB only, unfortunately...

I was thinking SSB Dave. We have a few days so lets see what response we get and use this thread to keep track if that is ok with everyone.

It'll be later in the evening if I join as I have a leaky faucet at the in-law's place to deal with...then a bite to eat after the job is done. 40 or 75 will be the best bet, like this crew has occasionally done in the past.

I'd like to think so, Pat, I really would. And I think that this is true for the vast majority of residents of both sites.

That said... it just takes one agitator...

Aside from that, though: I'll be home until around 2130/2200Z, give or take. Now I won't be in the shack all day, we have some stuff to do around the house, since the grandkids are coming on Friday for a visit. (You know, little things, like taking all of the paint cans and paint supplies out of the spare room... )

So I'm up for a sked. And if Jim is available, I would like to give 20 meters a shot, although we may need a third party on hand in case propagation is a little long from his cave to the river junction.

I will be nowhere to be found. We're leaving here in about 40 minutes. Gathering starts at 4:30 and I'd guess I won't be back until at least 8.

I've got HF in the car, but checking here to see if anyone's around will be impossible.

Somehow, that doesn't surprise me. Given all the supposed technical expertise, you'd think some of that would go into putting out a decent signal beyond the confines of CA.

She'd need someone to get an antenna up in the air for her. She's in poor physical condition and legally blind.
