So, one of the software programs I manage at work has us pick a code of up to 4 letters to indicate the "Operator ID" -- in essence, who did the actual data entry. Whenever possible, I use the person's initials.

We have just been notified of a new employee, who is due to start next week.

BDSM

Oh, I could have some real fun with this one...

For example, imagine the company email going out, with such zingers in it as...

"The start date for BDSM will be..."

I had no idea there was an opening in the black leather and chain department. Hope the new guy isn't a young whippersnapper.

Yeah, somebody cracked the whip...

He can't do anything about it—his hands are tied.

"I think we're all beginning to lose sight of the real issue here, which is: what are we going to call ourselves? I think it comes down to a choice between "The League Against Salivating Monsters" or, my own personal preference, which is "The Committee for the Liberation and Integration of Terrifying Organisms and their Rehabilitation Into Society." One drawback with that--the abbreviation is C.L.I.T.O.R.I.S."

Interestingly...... I heard the "call sign" "FU2PAL" heard on 14.313 a couple years ago....... I love those exotic call signs that you can envision anything with those letters.

If a job's worth doing, it's worth doing well. If it's not worth doing, give it to Rimmer.
