NariNari reports that Burger King Japan is rolling out another "Kuro Burger" ("Black Burger"), with buns made from bamboo charcoal, an onion and garlic sauce made with squid ink, beef patties made with black pepper, and black cheese, which is also apparently made with bamboo charcoal.

Squid is quite tasty and the ink isn't harmful and doesn't impart much of any taste. Nothing wrong with bamboo charcoal and beef with black pepper is quite tasty.

Warren insulting hockey pucks? ....... I actually like stuff from Burger King ....... they just built a new BK restaurant 3 blocks down the road from me and it's opening quite soon..... prefer it to McArnold's any day of the week.....but i've noticed BK is now trending to broil their burgers earlier in the day and just heating the damn things up in a warming tray instead of broiling them up fresh on the spot to speed sales.....seems to be a trend for this at all the fast food joints.Oh well another bad business decision by all of them concerned! :wtf:

The fact is, you could probably BBQ one up at home just as quickly. Probably bigger, better, and cheaper. Just swing by the fast food joint to pick up FF if they are a must.

We rarely go to any fast food joints any more, and if we have to, it is usually an IN and Out. I don't know if it can be considered fast food, but Panda Express and some of those places aren't bad.

BK and McDonalds may suck but, there is nothing wrong with bamboo charcoal and squid ink. In fact its quite good. I once had a squid soup darkened with squid ink and it was delicious. Lots of people eat squid.

I was in the kitchen whe they made that squid soup for you. Hum Ding just emptied his Scheffers fountain pen in the bowl. I think he called it Midnight squid surprise.

Still sounds good to me, Schaefers ink and all. At least my soup was hot and cooked squid. Lots of people were having it cold and uncooked. The waiter told me a lot of people like to eat it raw.
