Who would've thought that the Royals would be in first place going into the end of August? Nobody seems to notice on a national level. All they want to talk about is the Nats 10 game winning streak, which is an accomplishment, but there are two AL teams with better records than the Nats. They're doing it with consistent play, the Angels and the Orioles both are better than Washington's .579 right now.

Now, a 4 game sweep of the Bosox? At Fenway? That's gravy. Way to go Angels.
