How many of you are familiar with the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS?

If you're not, here's a link to this... http://www.alsa.org/news/archive/als-ice-bucket-challenge.html

My company got challenged by one of our customers yesterday. We will be doing it, en masse, up on the party deck on our roof tomorrow afternoon.

What do you think? Who should I pass the challenge on to?

Yes, the ZedMods come to mind... but I won't bother with the Zedians as a whole. I think some of them are allergic to water immersion of any sort, and most of those are so tight that they make copper wire out of sticking a penny... never mind, we don't need that visual.

I saw a YouTube of a rather large chested female do the challenge. She was in Atlanta, and her nipples were in San Francisco.

Catch Rt. 66 and just follow the booby skid marks to Santa Monica and then up I-5 to Frisco.

That's the long way. Better to take I-80 west, takes you right to the Bay Bridge.

I'll do it but only on a very cold winter night with temps in the single digits and a strong northwest wind.

Not for me. My heart isn't in bad shape, but I'm not tempting fate either. But I'll watch.

http://i61.tinypic.com/3522n49.gifWell, I did find out there's a loophole.

You can only be challenged if you're on Facebook. If you're not on FB, you'd never find out if a challenge has been issued...

I KNEW there was a good reason to stay off that place. Besides the many security holes and the lack of personal privacy.

BTW I am surprised to see Bill Gates drafting his design on paper. What happened, did Windows crash or does he not want to reveal to the world that in private he is a Linux user ??

Trying how to figure out how much to Eff the public for an OS and other software, plus trying to keep track of all that $$ will age anyone. I don't have a pot to piss in, and I look like a teenager.

Be careful with the ice bucket challenge if you have heart problems. The ice water slows the heart down and can cause a heart attack.

I was thinking the same thing. The sudden shock could have an adverse effect on persons with heart problems.

I have noticed a lot of rich guys seem to age fast and end up looking older than they are. You are like me. I am poor but I look a bit younger than I am.

Powerpoint crashes too often. He uses Keynote (https://www.apple.com/mac/keynote/) instead.

You have a "party deck" on the roof? At work? Jeez, most places are lucky to have a shitty cafeteria...

Yeah, we do. And they just remodeled the kitchen/break room 2 years ago.

Nice thing about working for a privately owned company whose owners actually give a darn about their employees!
