Listening to MMSN, and there's a maritime station trying to break in with semi-urgent traffic. Net control rambles on with their 15 minute weather report for Taiwan, while 3 or 4 stations are trying to catch the maritime station's call.
Now, the maritime station can't be reached anymore, and their still scrambling to figure out who has what and when.

The maritime station should have moved up 13 kHz and they would have received better attention.

Move up 3Khz and call "CQ Contest".

I guess net control never heard how the Coast Guard handles their notice to mariners bulletins, come up for air every 30-40 seconds, say "break" and listen for traffic before resuming transmission.
