and here i thought i changed something and screwed it up
have not been able to use it for more than a week
or maybe we don't know the secret handshake any more;)

I'm in the chat room right now ....... everything seems to be working normally here.... in Eddie's case it must be one of those desert things or something...... :mrgreen:

For whatever reason, the webchat interface is down. The actual IRC chat room is alive and well.

You'll have to use an actual IRC client for the time being. I'm using Xchat on Linux Mint and XP.

What is the IRC chat room and how do I get there? I just downloaded AndroIRC. I'm on the Freenode server

Yup. I use Xchat as well. A "real" IRC client is preferable to a web based one.
Some of us used to dork around on IRC a lot in days gone by, it's still cool.

Mac clients that are popular include Colloquy, LimeChat, and Linkinus.

There are others....
