Fixed the link for ya, and welcome to the Island! Your offering is sure to bring forth vigorous debate, although the linked page is very hard on the eyes...

Have fun!

Can you make that web site a little more offensive to the eyes? I don't think I have enough blood coming out of them.

:lame: :fail: :vomit:

Well, at least it's a PowerSDR interface in the background, somewhere.

As a very happy Flex 3000 and TS-850 w/DSP-100 owner, I have, and occasionally still do, "run wide". But I watch what I'm doing with a scope on the transmit side, so I don't splatter. And FWIW, EQ'd to my voice, I run SSB at 1.9Khz wide on the Flex most of the time, because that's like, the 80/20 rule, man.

And I do run AM from time to time as well, 8-10 Khz wide or so. Sometimes wider.

I have made recordings of dorks from time to time, including DX stations. When the panadapter shows crap AND the RX is in a good dynamic range... it don't lie. I hear (see) plenty of DX stations with wide signals pumping out useless noise energy too.

All ya gotta do is run crisp, clear, and clean. But hey, it's CONTROVERSY!

Holy early 90's web site design, Batman!

That would have been bad (though, unfortunately, not uncommon) Web design even back in the early Nineties.

I resemble that.

Thanks to the initial posts, my eyes were spared.

BTW, also thanks to TKX for adding to my collection.

Deviated from the font and color scheme,

but on the other hand, not overly original. ;)

Folks, kindly take the purse-swinging out of the technical areas. Beat the snot out of each other all day long in the Alpha Hotel - that's what it's there for.

So, she carried the routine on until her husband dry humped her. :(
