APRS to ISS

Turns out it is surprisingly easy to send a packet via APRS to the ISS.
I tuned my APRS VFO to 145.825, set my packet path type to others, and set the path for ARISS. I added a bit of information about my location and then set my beacon to auto-1 minute and left it for the day.
Came back this evening to see my SSID listed on the ARISS.net site.

Yep. I have done the same using just a homebrew J-pole and a couple watts. Pretty neat stuff.
