heheh in 96 we went to Milwaukee for the HD 95th anniv. One of the guys who rode up with us had never rode his bike in a big city, he had only ridden on the country roads around here. He was freaking out by the time we got to Racine Wi. According to him we flew through Chicago in 5 minutes, we were moving, went through them around 3 AM.

Last night I hooked up the FT-480 for digital communications and tuned up on 5W and got a quick response to my CQ from a Virginia station. He gimme a 599. I gave him a 579 because he just had an IC7000.

So I am up for 40M for now. I am using a Tripoli Dipole. It is a balunless dipole.

I hope to soon have an antenna up for 6M as well.
