Will California Chrome be the first horse in decades to win the Triple Crown by taking the Belmont Stakes tomorrow?

Personally I'd like to see that happen, but the Belmont race is one of the longest prize races. In both of California Chromes previous wins at the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes, he won both with the horse in 2nd nearly passing him at the finish line. Still I like the chances, he might just be the kind of athlete who only puts out just enough to win.

I still say California Chrome sounds like it should be the name of a dildo.

I watched the Kentucky Derby last night on some rerun and if the track had been longer (say another 100 feet), he'd have gotten passed. That could have been all about when the jockey attacked the field, but we'll see. I voted no.

Fourth? Well, he didn't really have the stamina. Still, a great Cinderella story of a horse coming out of nowhere to win 2 out of 3, which as we know, ain't bad.
